Chornobyl Wild Project

We would like to show the nature of the Chornobyl Exclusion zone to everybody. For this we need to install as more as possible cameratraps around the zone. Finally it should be some hundred of cameras there. Of course it is impossible to realise such project without Your support.

Now ww share with you a video in which we show some moments of setting a first trail camera within the Chernobyl Wild project (https://www.patreon.com/CHWild). Important stages of installing a camera trap are the choice of location with traces of animals, the correct orientation of the camera on the tree, the maximum fusion of the trail camera with the environment. The next important step is to choose the camera trap settings. We focused on the settings of our first camera in more detail in this video.

We installed the Bushwacker Big Eye D3 trail camera. The camera trap has an invisible flash for the human eye, the trigger time is 0.2 seconds, it is possible to receive a series of photos (in our case 3 photos) and immediately after them a video (in our case 20 seconds). We hope that we will be able to demonstrate the first results of this camera trap in the next few months.
